My name is David Jackson and I attended the Barber Program at Coba Academy. This school taught me so much from hair cutting to styling and hair coloring. I have been cutting hair since the age of 14, but never took it seriously until I was at a crossroads in my life. My goal was to find something that I loved to do and make a career of it. Coming to Coba Academy was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I choose Coba Academy over the other beauty schools because of the smaller group of students, for me I love that. You get more one on one time with the teachers and everyone knows everyone. You’re signing up not just for the education in the beauty industry but into a tight knit family. Everyone there truly takes the time to teach you everything from the Receptionist, Instructor, Admissions Advisor, Financial Aid Officer to the Director of Education to further your career as a Cosmetologist.

Coming to Coba Academy to do the Esthetics Program was the best experience! Not only did I have an AMAZING teacher (Ms. Francine) but I also became friends with so many students! You get one on one training on facial machines, facial techniques, waxing, makeup…
Another thing I’m really grateful for is that we practiced and went over state board a lot! And it totally helped me pass my state board exam! If you’re looking to become an Esthetician COBA is the place to go! (The whole staff is there to help you and are willing to go the extra mile to do so!)

Coba Academy is a great school that taught me a lot! I join the Cosmetology program 10 months ago and let me start with the Instructors, they are some of the nicest professionals I’ve ever me.
